WOMEN'S MENTORING RETREAT - HAND IN HAND– February 24-25, 2012, at Linden Valley Baptist Conference Center – The guest speaker for the retreat is Debbie Stuart, Women’s Ministry Director, Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, TX. Debbie is a LifeWay Ministry Multiplier. In addition to being a conference and retreat speaker and Bible study teacher, she was the founder and director of Network Extravaganza in the Shreveport, Louisiana, area. She is married and has two young adult children. Debbie will be speaking on the subject of Mentoring and the impact that it has had on her life. In Titus 2:3-5, the Lord tells the women to be mentors. Debbie was only 23 with a five-week-old baby when she lost her mother to cancer. Debbie was devastated and depressed. But the Lord began to walk other women into Debbie’s life that made a significant spiritual investment in her life. They loved Debbie and prayed her through some very dark days and taught her the importance of mentoring. Debbie is now devoted to equipping God’s Word. It is her utmost desire to motivate women toward a deeper and more meaningful relationship with the One who loves them most. The cost is $45 (based on double occupancy).
